Cluster and Clustering

The starting point with this body of work lay in the positioning of the gallery Colonnade House, opposite Worthing’s renowned jewellers Whibleys. Terrestrial objects, groupings, jewels, light, reflection and refracted light, perception and the movement between 2d and 3d imagery and forms were considered and explored.

This was a playful experience, I enjoyed puzzling out the arrangement and testing out the component parts in the gallery space, stacking, hanging and containing the 3d elements.

Cluster reformed into Clustering and spent a weekend on the seafront as part of the Worthing Light Festival. The pieces were reorientated to sit on the shoreline and fitted with lights to enhance and entice interaction.
